The Knoxville Habitat for Humanity Thrift Store carries thousands of gently used products at a fraction of the regular retail cost. All of the items in our Thrift Store are donated goods that otherwise may have taken up space in our local landfills, but instead are helping to bring in much needed revenue to build simple, decent and affordable housing in Knox County.
Our inventory changes regularly, so shoppers never know what kind of deals they will find. The Thrift Store is the perfect place to find incredible bargains or to locate hard-to-find merchandise or collectibles.
Some of the items you might find in our Thrift Store:
Clothing
We carry both men’s, women’s and children’s clothing and change out our inventory with every season. We carry everyday wear as well as more formal attire. And our store is the perfect place to find clothing for themed and costume parties.
Housewares
Serving dishes, kitchen utensils, place settings, bed linens and more.
Electronics
We have an entire room devoted to TVs, DVD players, and CD players, as well as vintage electronics such as VCRs and tape decks. We do not carry computers.
Furniture
Our furniture is as eclectic as our customers’ tastes. We carry both stick and upholstered furniture, from every decade imaginable, up to and including new pieces that have been donated by local furniture stores – or by individuals who perhaps didn’t like something quite as well in their home as they did on the showroom floor.
Books
Our book section contains both fiction and non-fiction selections, including classic literature and modern best-sellers. We also carry cookbooks, which sell out fast, as well as romance and children's books.
Appliances
We carry both large and small appliances.
Collectibles
If it’s a collectible, we’ve had it in our store at one time or another. We encourage you to shop often for specialty items you collect.
Sporting Equipment
From tennis rackets and bowling balls to baseball gloves and golf clubs, our selection of sporting equipment might be the perfect place to shop if you are considering taking up a sport, but don’t want to invest a lot of money right away.
If you have items to donate you can drop them off at either the Thrift Store or ReStore locations during our normal business hours. If you have larger items to donate, you can call us at 521-4909 to schedule a pickup when we are in your area.
