  • Families who live in homes built by Knoxville Habitat for Humanity pay for their houses with a 25- to 30-year no-interest mortgage.

 

  • Knoxville Habitat for Humanity houses are “no frills” simple, decent houses with:

  - Insulated walls, ceilings, crawlspaces and windows

  - Easy to maintain design and materials

  - Modern fixtures and appliances

 

  • We sell 3, 4 and 5 bedroom homes averaging 1100 square feet.

 

  • More than 1,100 men, women and children currently reside in Habitat homes, representing at least 16 different countries. 

 

  • Knoxville Habitat for Humanity families pay more than $100,000 in combined local property taxes per year.

 

  • We haved tithed more than $100,000 to our Habitat for Humanity partners in Nicaragua, Paraguay, Ecuador, El Salvador and Northern Ireland.
