Become a Covenant Partner

Building Houses, Building Lives ...

Our Covenant Partners have chosen to make a difference by building houses as well as lives, along with the community that is improved by eliminating substandard housing.

If you or your organization is interested in becoming a Covenant Partner, here are the basic responsibilities:

  • Provide a substantial amount of the funding for the construction of a Habitat for Humanity home, currently $30,000.
  • Sponsor a house independently or join with another group to share the funding and volunteer needs.
  • Commit to and recruit volunteers for a 10-week Saturday build schedule.
  • Knoxville Habitat for Humanity will provide all construction supervision and leadership, and will work closely with your group to ensure a positive building experience.

Being a Covenant Partner with Knoxville Habitat for Humanity is a way for organizations to give back to their community in a very visible and tangible way. The experience of building a house together is also a great team-building experience for your volunteers.
