Homeownership is a big part of The American Dream. At Knoxville Habitat for Humanity, we are a proud partner with individuals and families who are living in substandard housing conditions who want a safe and comfortable place to call home.
Knoxville Habitat for Humanity built 7 houses in 7 days from the ground up April 9th - 16th, 2011. Thanks to our 13 Covenant Partners and more than 1,400 volunteers, all 7 houses were finished on time. Check out this cool time-lapse video of one of the houses going up during the course of 7 days. Thanks to The Interfraternity Council and Panhellenic Council at The University of Tennessee for funding this house and for bringing out the volunteers to build it!
